Do you know something the public needs to hear?

Psst…we can help.

We are giving tech workers a way to speak out–collectively, loudly or quietly.

Psst is a safe, smart new way for people to share information in the public interest. We make speaking out a collective, more supported (and often world-changing) act.

Psst Safe

  • Are you concerned about a product, policy, or conduct in your workplace?

Are you wondering if something you’ve seen is illegal or just plain wrong? And has anyone else noticed?

Deposit the details securely into our Safe (anonymously, should you choose). Our tech scans the information the public submits, finding patterns in workplaces and industries. When a picture emerges that the world should be alerted to, the humans behind Psst help bring that information to light, while keeping you safe.

Psst Support

  • Are you unsure what to do with what you know? Are you being retaliated against because you’ve flagged an issue at work?  Are you wondering how to stay safe while getting answers to questions about information you’ve come across?

Psst can help. Our in-house legal counsel will answer your questions and strategize about your options. (Anything you share with us is 100% privileged, meaning you won’t have to fear for your job. Your information and identity will never be disclosed unless you decide you want them to be.)

We can also refer you to mental health experts who can provide needed support, or put you in touch with people who have been through this, too. If you decide to go public, we can help you come up with a plan, and help you join forces with others. We make sure you have the support you need every step of the way.

Psst Stories

  • If you decide to share your information publicly, we work with trusted journalists to investigate, vet, and bring your story to light, while keeping you safe and protected. When your information fits together with information others have deposited to the Psst Vault, we can pair you up with others for strength in numbers, in order to diffuse the risks involved with speaking out.

Psst also publishes vetted, first-person whistleblower accounts on our own website, amplifying them via our journalistic partners and on our social media channels.

We work with you to create a media strategy for your unique circumstances and to obtain maximum impact. Read some of the important stories everyday people like you have brought to the world.

Psst Impact

  • Psst makes sure the public interest information we help people bring forward does not die with the 24-hour news cycle. After your information is brought to light, we support workers and insiders with outreach to government and companies. Sometimes that comes in the form of congressional hearings, policy changes, setting up meetings with key members of government, or expanding the reach of your story into book format or documentary and film productions.

The aim? Creating real societal and cultural change, and ongoing oversight that changes our world for the safer and better.
